The commercial grade kitchen and large Butler's Pantry can accommodate preparation for 200. The appliances in the Kitchen include a Creda gas cook top with 5 burners set in a stone surround with a large copper hood, two wall mounted Gagginau convection ovens also set in a stone surround, a double corner stainless sink, Whisper Quiet Kitchenaid dishwasher, 10' preparation island with a maple butcher block top and cherry cabinets below, Sub-Zero refrigerator, microwave, and a bank of cherry wall cabinets and drawers for cookware, plates and flatware.
The extra large Butler's Pantry (170sf) is located off the Kitchen and contains a Sub-Zero freezer, a second microwave, a second Whisper Quiet Kitchenaid dishwasher, large laundry sink, hot water dispenser, and a heavy duty washing machine and dryer. There is a pass through to the dining room to facilitate course changes and ample counter space for course preparation. There are also spacious cabinets above and below the counter tops. Both the Kitchen and the Butler's Pantry have oak flooring and 10' ceilings.
The Breakfast Bay has a Spanish plank table with six signed Hitchcock chairs. There is also a large bay window which looks out over the Blue Ridge Mountains. The bay window has a butcher table with a baguette for breakfast or casual dining that can seat 6 comfortably. The oak flooring with scattered oriental rugs and 10' ceiling make the Kitchen and Breakfast areas elegant yet cozy.
